Robyn grew up in a tight circle of artistic friends, hell she even lived in a mansion in Hawaii! Well the mansion's gone, only because she wanted to try to do things on her own.
She left the islands, and is now a well known artist with a penthouse in Malibu, though she still heads to Maui now and then because there's no better surf (Okay Australia has it too but Shhhhhhhh), with well known movie actors as friends and clients.
Did I forget to mention that she's a mutant? Whatever she draws, if she wants it to; comes to life. Well at least within a thirty yard radius. She's uses the ability when she needs a new dress to go down the red carpet in, or to cheer up small children with little butterflies or small cartoon animals.
She likes the artist life style and doesn't really want attention for her abilities after all she's heard about anti-mutant hate groups and she'd rather steer clear of them, but if they do come around she has a few monsters she can throw at em.
Not: Shannyn Sossamon, she's just too adorable I had to use her. Not Hasbro either, but Ribbon here is so AU of her so it's not that big a deal right?
